PUBLIC NOTICE

 

            ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE OF C2044 LILLEY GREEN ROAD, BEOLEY, WORCESTERSHIRE (“THE HIGHWAY”)

 

Reason for restriction: Water Leak/ Burst Main.  There is a likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road.  There is a need to close the highway in the following terms:-

 

2. The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of the highway from its junction with junction with C2042 Watery Lane for a distance of 180 metres in a southerly direction.

 

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days, however, it is anticipated that it will remain in force for 2 days commencing 8 July 2024.

 

3. Alternative routes: – C2044 Lilley Green Road (part), C2044 Icknield Street, B4101 Dagnell End Road, A441 Birmingham Road, C2291 Redditch Road, C2001 Radford Road, C2001 Weatheroak Hill, C2042 Watery Lane and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
